Kazari was created in the late 1970s by Robert Joyce and Jo Maindonald, who fell in love with Japan and its timeless aesthetic. Inspired by the simplicity found in even the most utilitarian objects, they embraced a philosophy where form and function come together to create true works of beauty.
Together, Robert and Jo have built Kazari into one of today’s most respected sources for authentic Japanese antiques, furniture, and decorative arts — offering pieces that embody elegance, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.
